Love these Daffodils. You can find a lot of these flowers over by me in a community. There are some on the lawn, but not as much. These flowers are poisonous , as they look much like the Daylily, but lack the onion smell and leaf structure. These plants however are great if you want to ever set up a colorful looking garden. You can purchase them at my site at https://stevenanthony123456.smugmug.com/ in the flower and plants section. Enjoy!

The National Flower of Wales, and one of my favorites. They grow wild in Cardiff Castle grounds on March 1, Dewi Sant / St. David’s Day. We won’t see them here in Atlantic Canada for another month.

They are fantastic flowers though. We have yellow and white ones where I live.

There are various variations: all beautiful and a true sign of spring: the Lent Lily.

At least in Austria these flowers are typical for spring, they usually appear around Easter.

The daffodils by where I live I think started appearing in early spring to late winter.

I can’t really remember, to be honest. I think it was quite cold in Austria, comparedto the usual temperatures.

Meep! Wrong! 18 degrees at the moment, for example. And summer is reasonably hot too, with 30+ degrees tops.

He wrote a lot of poems on Daffodils?

No he didn’t but he wrote a lot about nature.
You would have expected me to say William Wordsworth here I know because he wrote Daffodils.
But I’ve always been a little biased about Robert Frost, so….

And the Daylily flowers means summer is approaching. They usually start flowering in mid June to Late June as I was told.

Plenty of them in the community garden. Although, some are dying pretty much. They are indeed beautiful.

Lovely captures! They don’t grow in Karachi, Pakistan, so this is a real treat for me.

whenever the flowers start to bloom it reminds me the spring is on the way and William Wordsworth’s poem Daffodils and take me to my childhood whom I read and imagine these beautiful flowers. Thank you for the photos.
